What is LDW?
A week of conferences, workshops, meet-ups, presentations, networking, parties and exhibitions bringing together the digital-orientated industries in and around London under one umbrella event. 2009 marks the beginning of this annual festival, drawing in local and global industry leaders and mavericks to celebrate our talented innovators, thinkers and doers, who have helped to put London firmly on the global digital map. The events aims to further the understanding of digital, to share knowledge within the industry and to showcase the best work of companies, groups and individuals in London and the UK to the rest of the world.
Who is LDW for?
Digital today is truly enshrined in much of what we all do, and as a result the festival program features a broad range of subject matters. The events cover digital marketing, interaction design, advertising, planning, strategy, branding, social media, gaming, television, film, post production, motions graphics, mobile, publishing, content, print, illustration, art, music, fashion, interior design, architecture, product design, education, skills and careers. If you work in any of these industries, would like to, or perhaps have something to say to those people, then you should be getting involved with London Digital Week!
Where is LDW?
The hub of activity will be in the rich cultural mix of East-End of London where the heart of the digital industry has already already settled around Shoreditch and Brick Lane. London Digital Week also covers events that encompass London’s other creative districts, with events also planned around Central London’s Soho.
